A New Endeavour

ENCOURAGEMENT / FAITH & MINISTRY / MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

Welcome to my newest endeavour, the In Everything Blog!

Last week I shared for the first time on social media about my recent diagnosis with MS (I’m sure I’ll talk about this much more in the future). I was absolutely blown away by the response of friends, family, and even strangers who rallied around me in support. As posts and messages circulated around the web, I realized that while many were becoming aware of my condition, they were really only hearing a small part of the story. The reality is, there is only so much of my journey than I can write in a simple social media post! After a few days a mulling it over, I decided I would share my story, journey and other random pieces of my life with anyone who would read it!

My goal really is to show my passion and purpose in everything I do. I may have multiple sclerosis, but I choose not let it define or determine my life. Instead, I will take advantage of this new opportunity to share my life and the hope I’ve found with others.

Well, I don’t know exactly what I’m going to post on any given day, but I do know that I want my words to be full of hope, encouragement and purpose!

Thanks for coming along for the ride!

    Kimberlee,

My Dad always said that having MS was a blessing because when he was in his wheelchair, it gave him the time to reach people he never would have had the opportunity to meet otherwise. Random people would come up to him to talk to him, little kids in strollers gravitated towards him because he was in a “stroller” too… My Dad was Papa in the lives of so many and it opened up doors to share how Jesus had done such great things in his life. Before he was diagnosed with MS and no longer able to work, he worked a lot of hours as a pharmaceutical sales rep… He shared Jesus then too but not to the same degree that he did afterwards! Praying that you have the same sort of blessing! He is made perfect in our weakness after all! xoxo

What an awesome attitude Heather! I already feel the same in many ways. There are things that having MS has alreay taught me that I’m so grateful for! Your dad is an inspiration!

My boyfriend led me to your blog for the recipe to Hemp Heart Energy balls, but I have received so much more than that. In going through your blog, God really has spoken to me, and given me a word for this year, and that is passion. Through all that has come your way what really stands out is the way you maintain your passion in all aspects in life. I really admire your bravery, trust, and positivity which radiates through your posts. Thank you for reminding me in the simple smiles in life, my passions, and most importantly this beautiful life God has given each and everyone of us. May God continue to be so very close to you, and may you be as blessed, as you bless! Although I do not know you, you will be in my constant prayers.
    Love,
